Dear Charlie and the RS Elite Class Members,

It’s safe to say, if anyone can put on a fun event, you want Charlie and the Royal Yacht Squadron on your team.

We can’t thank you all enough for your generosity throughout the RS International Grand Prix Event; the calibre of the event was world class
in every aspect.

Everyone’s enthusiasm towards ACF has been fantastic, and I am delighted to confirm that you all generously raised a total of £3,644.83 for the charity. I was able to convey to Andy the many kind messages from those who know and have sailed with or against him, and I know these were of particular value as he was recovering from his hip replacement.

These funds will enable more severely disabled people like Ian Wyllie, who was so thrilled to attend the event, to access our sport and to race
on an equal and inclusive playing field against you in the future. Thank you all.

The event will surely live long in your collective memory, and you will permit me to say that I hope that the Andrew Cassell Foundation will also. Please continue to follow both our charitable journey and our development of disabled sailors and of course let us know when you are next in Cowes and have time to catch up on recent developments. We would love to apprise you!

Thank you from everyone at the Andrew Cassell Foundation,

Yours Sincerely,

Matt Grier
Director
